Bryan R the Activist

Greetings! My name is Bryan & I recently finished earning my master's degree in engineering, was looking for a change of pace & eventually found myself here. Currently, I have an active interest in all things green & clean-tech. Although I've spent a lot of time tinkering in the lab as a student, I also enjoy tinkering in the kitchen. Lately, I've been visiting my local farmers market & buying freshly slaughtered meat. It's especially fun to chit-chat & learn about how the animals were raised & to receive little tips about preparation. Recently, I've been on a bit of a lamb kick & my next step is to perfect a lamb stew. It hasn't been easy but fortunately, I can turn to my step-mother, a former assistant chef at a local Brazilian restaurant, whenever I run into a culinary bind.
