Robin P loves Seattle

I live in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood and am currently studying urban planning part-time at the UW after several years of working in the nonprofit sector. I have loved to cook and loved to EAT as long as I can remember. Between learning make my own scrambled eggs at toast at 8, to raising veggies in the family garden every summer and fall, I've liked to be involved in making my own food and learning to make good food. An interest in food ethics came hand in hand with three years of strict veganism which led me to cook at home more than ever - my cooking skills reached a new level, and I learned some creative tricks from my many vegan cookbooks (e.g. fudge made with silken tofu and cashew butter--it's amazing, try it.)
